You’re invited to BASECAMP, an all-inclusive weekend of adventure near Sedona, Arizona . With stylish camp accommodations, thoughtfully curated meals, and activities for all ages, BASECAMP by Pitched® will be the best adventure of your year.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

When you arrive to BASECAMP, you'll be greeted by your weekend camp hosts and guided to your spacious, fully styled luxury tent. Complete with pillow-top memory foam beds, real linens, lanterns, battery banks, and the sounds of nature, you might just get the best sleep of your life*.

You won’t need to worry about what you’re going to eat or drink because the staff will serve up nourishing and balanced meals to ensure you and your group are energized for adventure. In the evenings, you’ll be ready to indulge in thoughtfully curated dinner menus in a beautifully lit, communal outdoor dining space. 

As part of the all-inclusive experience, you’re invited to participate in a variety of beginner-friendly adventures, games and activities around camp, or just relaxing by the on-site creek. At BASECAMP, there is no shortage of options for your group. Learn more about the included activities below:

Some of the Activities You Can Expect at BASECAMP

  • Recognized as one of Arizona’s only two Wild and Scenic Rivers, you’ll experience a whole lot of thrill on this beginner friendly, 3 mile kayak paddle & float amongst gorgeous green landscape, rich with wildlife and steeped in history. Local guide will share insights about the areas wildlife and history.

  • Be prepared to be amazed by the vastness of our solar system! Throughout this 2 hour experience, you’ll get to peer through a professional telescope while an experienced astronomer takes you on a journey through the galaxy, pointing out constellations, planets, and other celestial bodies.

  • Enjoy an early morning hike across the Verde River and up to structures dating back to the year 1,000 - 1,400. At Tuzigoot, you’ll take in the sights to enjoy the surrounding views of the historic landscape.

  • We’ll go off the beaten path and explore areas most vehicles can’t go with All Terrain Vehicles (ATV). Scenic views and simply just a ton of fun! Drivers must have active drivers license to drive.

  • With built in free time, you can still have fun around BASECAMP with on site trails to the Verde River, card games, and bean bag toss. Or, take an afternoon nap if that’s your thing!

Basecamp is welcome to campers of all ages, however some activities have age requirements ~ Ages 5+. Note: daytime temperatures can be into the 90’s and evening temperatures into the 50’s during the month of October.

Common Questions

  • - 2 nights of lodging in a dedicated, fully styled luxury tent

    - Linens, blankets, and pillows for each bed

    - Guided Adventures around Cottonwood and at BASECAMP

    - All meals, desserts, beverages from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon

    - 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 dinners

  • Yes, limited cell services will be available at BASECAMP.

  • Outdoor flushing restrooms with hand washing sinks will be available for your use.

  • We accept all major debit / credit cards. To secure your spot, full payment is due.

  • Showers will not be available during BASECAMP. Wipes, dry shampoo, and other hygiene amenities will be available. A dip in the river can also do the trick! ;)

  • Yes. Please let us know how many guests you are looking to include in your group. We can move tents closer together if you prefer. We also have larger size tents that sleep up to 10 available if you prefer to sleep in the same space.

  • YES! With a supervised adult. Some activities have a minimum age requirement of 5+.

  • Due to restrictions on serving alcohol, no alcohol will be served. However, you are more than welcome to bring a cooler or bottle of wine to enjoy throughout your weekend.

  • We sure hope so! The Pitched® team is welcoming, inclusive, and ready to ensure you have an incredible experience. We would be happy to introduce you to other campers and staff, or let you enjoy a peaceful weekend in silence as you please. We are here to support you however you choose to enjoy BASECAMP.
